Julie-YeungJulie has been a registered massage therapist since 2006, and has also trained to practice acupuncture, graduating from the Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2003. She has also been a Traditional Thai Massage practitioner since 1999. Her main areas of focus are musculo-skeletal conditions and injuries whether due to repetitive strain, poor ergonomics, sports injury or just everyday living.

She uses a variety of techniques including deep tissue massage, myofacial release, trigger point therapy, acupressure, sports massage, active inhibition and passive stretches. Where needed and with consent, Julie may incorporate massage therapy with acupuncture and other related modalities including cupping, scraping (a Chinese myofascial technique) and electro-stimulation acupuncture. To facilitate faster recovery and to prevent reinjury, she provides recommendations such as remedial exercises, stretches and home self-care.
