Sherry Holt M.Ed C. Psych., is a psychotherapist who has dedicated her career to issues of emotional well-being for over twenty years. As past president of the Anxiety Disorders Association of Canada, and a clinical member of the Canadian Psychological Association, she is a seasoned practitioner who is able to tailor her approach to a wide variety of client needs.
More recently, as a faculty member at the Centre for Mindfulness Studies, she has taught mindfulness meditation courses, such as MBCT Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy.
Included in her focus is the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, as well as Mindfulness practices, which in combination are highly effective for treatment of anxiety, depression, a variety of life transitions, and interpersonal issues and losses.
